I am grateful.....

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. ~ Albert Schweitzer (1875 - 1965)

That was exactly how I was feeling about crafting last year (first line of quote).
Then Aunt Kathleen introduced me to quilting (second line).
So thankful to Kath for rekindling my crafting fire. (third line).
Thanks, Auntie! I love you!

Karen- What a wonderful thing to say

Kath- What exactly are cockles? Can you have a cockle attack? Is there such a thing as open cockle surgery?

They are the part of you that need to be cooled once they are warm and you must hurry to Dairy Queen. I used a Turtle Bar this time. I'm still counting on my scale to be nice to me cuz I hit the treadmill last night.
("warms the cockles of my heart" = "gives me a warm glow, makes me feel happy" From the Latin cochleae cordis (heart's ventricles)- now that takes all the fun out of it, doesn't it?)
