Craft Show

 I agreed to be in a craft show at a local grade school this spring. I've been working on figuring out what to sell and making dolly quilts. Here's a peak of my list and some of my projects. Turns out dolly quilts are fun to make.....You get so much satisfaction really quickly 'cause they are so quick to whip up.

Sams

Chuck likes to shop at Sam's. It makes him happy to bring home lots of big food items. It makes me happy that I don't have to grocery shop as much as I used to. Here's his list along with his calculations (MUST stick to budget) from yesterday's Sam's run.

Things I did while my internet was down.

1. Wonder about how many emails I got over night.
2.Wonder if I have any new friends on Facebook.
3.Pretend like it is 1998 and I didn't need or want the internet.
4.Wonder if anyone left a comment on my blog.
5.Wonder why my coffee pot won't work this morning either....is it some kind of internet/coffee pot conspiracy?
6.Thank God I have a back-up coffee pot....Thank you God!
7.Wonder how long it will take for Mr. Wonderful to FIX IT!!!! (the internet and the coffee pot)
8.Wonder how I've managed to survive the past 90 mins without the internet.
9.Check to see if its connected yet......checking...checking...checking....NO.
10.Practice patience while trying not to scream, “HONEY.......FIX IT!!!!!”
11.Get a life.....seriously.

Here is my moms' grateful list for today:

A grateful list-always a wonderful idea! When I am having a hard time it's particularly helpful as a reality check. The things that top my list are my Penny girl and the rest of my family, my healthy earthen vessel, and living in California. The rest of the list is very long and certainly includes some of the things you listed. Oh yeah and morning-I love and am so grateful for this time of day. I usually like it to start a couple hours later than it did today 3am. Love, Mom

I need to....

.....drive slower.
.....floss my teeth.
.....lose 10 more pounds.
.....start counting calories again.
.....workout every day.
.....talk nice....especially to Chuck.
.....get my crafting mojo back.

.....learn to quilt with my Aunt Kath.
.....volunteer at the food bank more often.
