Day 2

I got the whole middle of the quilt quilted yesterday. It's stitch-in-the-ditch, nothing fancy. I need to do the sides, but I will have to go to JoAnn's (yippee!!!!) today to get a fabric pencil. I want to draw straight lines on the creme part of the quilt so that I sew straight....well as straight as I can. Does that make sense?
So in the meantime, I'll start working on my second WIP for the week. This was the one I had started in Florida.

Hi Karen, I know what you mean about straight lines. The seam seems straight, 'til I look at the back - ugh!! Have you ever done paper piecing? I'm thinking that technique might make me a better quilter (if I am one - I've yet to finish a quilt.) I printed out the BOM house, but haven't even selected fabric yet. Busy, busy, busy...
I want to thank you for the sweet little sweater for felting, and the bag of fabrics. They are beautiful! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Try one of these for straight lines: http://www.berninausa.com/product_detail-n26-i85-sUS.html
Your "Florida" blocks are really pretty.
