The 4 quilts I want to finish may not get done in 7 days. I forgot how much 'work' is involved in 'finishing' a quilt. Once the qulit top is done, I begin to think, well that ones almost done...on to the next one! The tops are the fun part to make. Anyway, here's what I got done. Its sandwiched and pinned....which took longer then expected....... (and Bubba was no help once again)
The binding is made....which took longer then expected..... ...and the quilting has begun...which, you guessed it....is taking longer then expected. Stay tuned.
Words to describe me: Mom(to Eric & Danny),wife(to Chuck),Auntie(to Grace, Jessica, Jack),big sister (to 5 sibs),crafty, scrapbooker, new quilter. Homebirth nurse/baby catcher, friend (I got a pocketful of friends!), early morning person, coffee drinker (all day!)happy, and much more to be added later...oh yea...I love books and wine and Jesus!

You are soooo right. It all takes longer than you would think.
I love the way binding looks when it's all wound up waiting to go.
When we want to get things done it always takes longer, relax and just enjoy, then it will go faster!! and if not at least you will have had fun!
