Coffee anyone....

I made a coffee cup block this morn...just started cutting and sewing and came up with this. I looked at a few different cups online to get an idea of a pattern but put this one together myself. It's a very simple pattern but its cute! I need to make a couple changes. 1.) Bigger handle. 2) Make it either a 6 inch or 8 inch block. This one is 6 3/4 by 6 1/4....not very symmetrical, I know. Probably 8 inch....I like bigger blocks.

Karen, you clever girl! This is so cute! and I like the size of the handle. The proportion to the cup is perfect!

For the quilt, how about different shapes of cups and tea pots, coffee pots, creamers, sugar bowls - the whole nine yards!

I like the other idea for different colored cups, too. Just 'brain storming'.
