Time Flies......

.....really, really fast in the morning. Morning time is my most productive time of the day. Unfortunately, if I'm not careful...which I'm usually not, I'll spend and hour or an hour and a half (or more)on the Internet fooling around.....looking at blogs...searching for clock images .....wasting time on Facebook....I'm sure you all know what I mean. I love the Internet (Hi, my name is Karen and I'm an Internetaholic.....(note to self....must find Internet 12 step program) but I should be sewing at this time!! AANNNYYYWWAAAYY....I made another (very loose) NY's resolution. 30 minutes. THAT'S IT. I get 30 minutes to do whatever on the Internet, then its off to craft. I can Internet other times of the day when I'm not so productive...like after 12p. That is all. I've already exceeded my time limit be 6 minutes.

I do the same thing. Setting a time limit is such a good idea . . . much better than 'I'll just check my e-mail' ... 'oh and any new posts' ... 'oh and a quick peek at Facebook' ... 'oh and just need one pic of a quilt for inspiration'...

I think a lot of us relate to this....and I can't resist finding new blogs. The # I try to read each day now is pretty crazy!!

Of course we all know what you mean because we're all sitting here nodding our heads "yes, yes..." I'm wasting time just sitting here reading her blog!! :) That's a good resolution and I am really going to consider it, because my business depends upon me being IN the sewing room, not just thinking about it!

If it was just the time in the AM I would be ok, but its so hard when I log on to pay bills or loook something up to not drift onto a blog site, just to see if I missed something... or when an email hits with a comment, I always want to go check thier blog to say hi back... ugh.. well, at least its not wasting time on the webkins site! (I am the cash cow queen!)
