....if you don't clean your sewing machine, it will break when you are on deadline with a project and you will have to run and buy a new machine*.

That's a LOT of lint! Weren't you scared to open that? I've been wanting to try.... just cleaned an amazing amount of lint out of the bobbin area. Does it work now that it's clean?
I was wondering the same thing as Kathleen. My machine is not so easy to clean and I know there is a better way to deep clean it.
Hmm, this may just inspire me *not* to clean my machine! Even though I don't need a new one, the thought excites me! :) On second thought, I can't afford a new one. I'm going to clean mine right now!

That looked like the dust elephant that was under my bed when we moved...LOL!
No, I was not afraid to open it...I was really careful. No it did not fix it....My BIL looked at it and he said something big was bent inside it....he was very unspecific...and he didn't think he could fix it. I gave it to Danny 'cause he works on machines all the time...maybe he can fix it. At any rate, I'll keep it for parts 'cause my new machine is a Brother as well.
BTW...you really can't do a deep clean without opening it up like I did.....you wouldn't believe how dusty it gets in there.
