Wonky Town

Well, I started building Wonky Town back in February but then housing starts were way down and it languished in a corner hoping to be built upon soon. Here is is July and the town is finished! I've already started moving into the blue house on top altho my roof is a little crooked...just like me! As a matter of fact, all the roofs look a little crooked and the cats' behinds are cut off and some of the houses seem to be tilted sideways. I like it anyway. I like the trees and the tiny details in the windows.

Your Wonky Town quilt turned out great! Is it from you own little head? No Pattern?? Very creative and 'happy looking'! Can you post a few close-ups so we can see the cats you mentioned, and window details?

I love it. Especially the center, and the gingham curtains (you're so clever). And of course some of it's crooked and tilted and cut off - it's Wonky Town - that's part of the charm. So very cute!

Thanks for telling me how to see it larger. I love all the little details. You are raising the bar really high! I was thinking of putting a moon in the sky on my house quilt when I get that far. Now I might have to add other little details. hmmmmm
