Mary, being the fashion queen she already was said, "ga goo", meaning "right on my brother! and by the way, I love what you've done with your hair!"

New shelving made by my very own builder guy!

Chuck has been busy working on my birthday present today....shelves for the craft room. Here's a pic of the wall its going to go on (as well as all the crap that is going to go on the shelves!). Also a pic from the garage of the shelves in progress. Chuck told me he got an 'A' in wood shop and now I believe him! These shelves are going to rock! I just know I'll be the envy of all my crafty friends!

So I pulled out some old pictures I had of my mom's family and scanned them. I tried to sharpen and enhance them...so far this is the best I could do (see following posts). I think I can get better images, but I need to keep playing with them. Stay tuned for more.....

BACK to school.

I've been having a ton of fun manipulating photos and then printing them out. For this LO, I blew up the image and then used the ink-sketch tool to give it that cool cartoony look. I then printed it out from my copier...easy-peasy! Who knew!....Well, Chuck knew. He's been trying to get me to use the computer more since I met him....but of course I've resisted. This morn I asked him this: "If I decrease the compression of a scanned image, will it then make the file smaller?" (as it turns out, you need to increase the compression.) He about was jumping for joy that I was even asking something "technical" like that. I still don't know what any of means, but it got the job done! Thanks, Chuck!

Welcome to the world Cooper Scott!!

Cousin Sarah and John had their first baby boy around 2am this morning. Mom and Baby (and dad!! and Gramma Kathleen!!) are doing well. Congratulations!

PS: This is Kathleen and Scott's 3rd grandchild. WOW!
