I thought I might work on this in Michigan. The fruit fabric is a table cloth. I love it....its so bright and cheery. Any ideas for what kind of squares I shoud do?
snowball blocks (fruit in the center) and the on point square you get when you lay it out might be solid or cute 4 different color triangle pieced squares. . . or snowball with 9 patch . . . or a bunch of squares but half of them are the fruit and when you lay it out every other block is fruit and then you'll have a checkered fruit table topper (laid out like my little girl quilt - but alternating blocks could be random, they don't have to make diagonal stripes). . .
Words to describe me: Mom(to Eric & Danny),wife(to Chuck),Auntie(to Grace, Jessica, Jack),big sister (to 5 sibs),crafty, scrapbooker, new quilter. Homebirth nurse/baby catcher, friend (I got a pocketful of friends!), early morning person, coffee drinker (all day!)happy, and much more to be added later...oh yea...I love books and wine and Jesus!

what if you made a table topper with 5 inch squares and use the large fruit piece as the border, and quilt it in red? just a thought.
