I heart GoodWill

Stopped in at the Goodwill store yesterday and come across this vintage (1977) quilting book. I thought I hit the freakin' jackpot. I kept looking around to make sure nobody would steal it from my cart.....hehe. 89 cents later I was the proud owner. Can you say BARGAIN!! Look how happy quilting can make a girl!

Cute placemats. OMG, I so remember those plates.

Curtain below would be great for a shower curtain.

Must steal ideas from pic below......love it!

So awesome....whats old is new!

You're so funny! I'm glad you made it to the checkout and then to your car and then safely home before anyone snatched that book from you. ....are you SURE it's vintage 70's? :)

So um... how do you sew? should I have Gracie give me my first lesson?

Hi Girls, I think it was Bart and or Rob that had that shirt. I've had shirts in that pattern and the colors were differnt. You know browns usually don't do it for me. How totally much fun you are having and now pulling Mary in! What a wonder you have created Kathleen! Keep on sewing.Love, Mom P.S. What is lol? Saw in a earlier comment a few days ago.

Yes, I do have a sewing machine. Why? By the way, I think Mike might have had a shirt like that too. Mom

The only sewing machine I've ever had is the mini one you gave me.
I dropped and broke it while trying to fix a hem while wearing the pants.

I think I'll send Mom and Pen a list of acronyms... she'll be like the granny in the phone commercial texting.

....maybe santa could bring you a sewing machine. You can get them for pretty cheap....$70-80 at walmart.
